About Derotic Emergency Equipment

Jim Demattei is a seasoned Fire Captain with almost 30 years in the fire service and a long history of selling fire apparatus. Casey Demattei came from a successful 20-year career in the motorcycle industry. Once she had conquered that, she got her B.S. in Advertising and began working in the corporate marketing sector.

Despite their diverse backgrounds, they share a passion for emergency vehicles and a desire to bring change and innovation to the industry. That's how Derotic was born...an acronym for Disruptive Excellence Relies On Tactical, Innovative Change.

Initially, we sold trucks and parts independently for Seagrave Fire Apparatus. But when they asked us to apply for our California DMV dealer license, it changed everything. We were now a full-blown emergency vehicle dealership.

In 2018, we opened our SoCal shop, and in 2019, we opened our NorCal shop.
